Junior’s House, Inc. opened its doors in 2003. The mission of Junior’s House, Inc. is to provide services for child abuse victims and their families in a centralized, child-friendly location, and provide child abuse awareness and prevention programs. The funds requested in the application will support Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Individual Child Victims. 80% (24 out of 30) of children seen for TF-CBT will show reduction in five symptoms as measured by the UCLA PTSD index in the areas of Avoidance, Re-Experiencing The Trauma, and Increased Arousal.
