The Mary Parrish Center

Established as a 501(c)(3) in 2000, The Mary Parrish Center (MPC) provides Housing First, Transitional (TH) and Rapid Re-Housing (RRH) programs for survivors and their children who have become homeless as a direct result of fleeing domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, stalking and/or human trafficking. Both programs provide the following support services: clinical therapy, case management, emergency financial assistance, housing advocacy and enrichment activities. The agency’s goals/outcomes for the year include: 52 out of 70 (75%) survivors receiving therapeutic services will report a reduction in trauma symptoms and behaviors associated with PTSD as indicated by a 10-point decrease and/or a score below 33 on the PCL-5. The decrease in PCL-5 score indicates a decrease in severity and frequency of PTSD symptoms, allowing the survivor to demonstrate higher levels of daily functioning occupationally, socially and relationally.
