The Next Door is an organization that offers a full continuum of evidence-based substance abuse treatment services and support for adult women struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders related to mental illness, trauma, and/or incarceration. The Next Door’s mission is to serve these women and their families with the best care possible and from a place of Christ-centered compassion in hopes that each woman understands that she is not defined by past decisions and is capable of living a whole and hopeful life. The Next Door, Inc. received its 501(c)(3) status in 2003. The funds requested in the application will support a spiritual retreat, leadership assessment and personal coaching, conference travel, and staff appreciation events. Linda’s outcomes/goals include decreasing her secondary trauma score as measured by the ProQOL and setting healthier boundaries.
