Siloam Family Health Center is a faith-based, volunteer-supported primary and specialty care clinic that provides high-quality, affordable health care to the uninsured.  Its mission is to share the love of Christ by serving those in need through health care.  In 1991, the clinic began with one volunteer doctor seeing a few patients on Saturday mornings in a 1,000 square-foot converted apartment space.  Thanks to a successful 2005 capital campaign, Siloam now owns (debt-free) a 12,000 square-foot facility.  The clinic is open 50 hours a week and operates with 32 staff members and 433 volunteers. In addition, Siloam's staff providers mentor residents, medical students, nursing students, and others.  Its goals for the year include fully implementing the training of volunteers on Electronic Medical Records; launching major gifts program and increasing the individual donor base; expanding church relationships to increase financial support and volunteer involvement; and incorporating pharmacist consultation with patients into Siloam's model of whole-person care.
