Established in 1978, Sexual Assault Center’s (SAC) mission is to provide hope and healing for children, adults, and families affected by sexual assault and to end sexual violence through counseling, education, and advocacy. SAC is the only Middle Tennessee agency that exclusively provides treatment for sexual assault survivors to mitigate the impact of their trauma. The funds requested in the application will support consultation and training for members of the management team via the National Coalition Building Institute’s Welcoming Diversity Workshop for all staff, the Circle Center, and the Coach Approach. SAC uses the ProQOL to measure Compassion Satisfaction Scale, Burnout Scale, and Secondary Traumatic Stress Scale. Staff engagement and satisfaction will be tracked with the following indicators: I know how to achieve the outcomes expected of me in my role; I am satisfied with this organization as a place to work; and the organization is invested in my growth and professional development.
