Salvus Center was founded in 2006 by Sumner County leaders who recognized the increasing need for medical care for uninsured residents.  The agency’s mission is to be a faith-based health center that seeks to reclaim the Biblical and historical commitment to care for those who are sick and in need, so they may experience wholeness, wellness, and healing.  The agency’s goals/outcomes for the year include: Monitor 150 of female patients over the age of 40 to insure that 50% (75) of these patients are having an annual mammogram and pap smear. All patients will be surveyed at the end of their office visit.  One question asks if the provider answered any questions/concerns that the patient had and if they understood their diagnosis and medication, including purpose and dosage instructions for medication.  80% of all surveys submitted will indicate that they were given adequate information.
