 The mission of Salvus Center is to be a faith-based health center that seeks to reclaim the Biblical and historical commitment to care for those who are sick and in need, so they might experience wholeness, wellness, and healing.  Salvus Center was established as a 501(c)(3) organization on 06/10/05 and opened in Gallatin in 2006 and a clinic Hendersonville in 2008 .  The agency's goal for the year include recruiting eight dentists who will volunteer to work in the dental clinic one day per month; identifying 50 obese or overweight patients and educating them concerning the importance of losing weight by eating healthy foods and exercising, and providing a seminar for diabetic patients who are interested in controlling blood sugar levels.
