Established in 1993 by singer/songwriter/worship leader Michael W. Smith, the mission of Rocketown is to offer hope to the next generation through Christ's love. Rocketown exists to be a place of peace and purpose from young people from 8 to 22 years of age. It attracts young people through its music venue, skate park, and after-school activities. The grant requested in this application will be used to fund a part-time counselor, a part-time case manager, travel and 20-30 day bus passes for youth.  At least 24 out of 35 counseling participants (70%) scoring 1 (doing adequately), 2 (moderate problems), or 3 (severe problems) during their initial session will improve on the Child & Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) assessment by one level by the end of treatment. At least 90% of case management needs will be addressed and met if there is a viable means to do so.
