Rebuilding Together Nashville (RTN), founded in 1995, believes it can preserve affordable homeownership by bringing volunteers and communities together to provide free home modifications and repairs, making homes safer, more accessible, and more energy efficient for low-income homeowners. The grant requested in this application will be used to fund the program oversight by the Executive Director, printing of program informational brochures, and mileage reimbursement for the Lead Program Manager. It will also supplement the grant to help cover non-allowable costs from HUD determinations, such as roofing and plumbing issues, that directly impact its ability to complete lead hazard remediation. 29 out of 45 (64%) of the families with children showing elevated blood lead levels will demonstrate a reduction to <10 µg/dL within six months of completion of remediation and clearance.  24 out of 40 (60%) of the families with children showing elevated blood lead levels will demonstrate a reduction to <5 µg/dL within nine months of completion of remediation and clearance.
