Park Center’s mission is to empower people who have mental illness and substance use disorders to live and work in their communities. Park Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization providing person-centered recovery services for people who have mental illness and substance use disorders and those experiencing chronic homelessness. The agency’s goals/outcomes for the year include: 60 out of 110 (55%) of persons with psychiatric disabilities will increase self-sufficiency by having gainful employment. 48 out of 70 (64%) of persons with co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorders will show a reduced ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) risk rating during IOP/OP (intensive outpatient/outpatient) treatment.
