 The Nashville Mobile Market (NMM), a program of the Vanderbilt Center for Community Health Solutions, combats food insecurity and chronic health conditions by providing sustainable access to affordable, fresh, healthy foods through a communally-responsive mobile grocery store. The grant requested in this application will be used to fund a full-time Program Director, a full-time Operations Manager (AmeriCorps member), and overhead expenses. 50 out of 100 (50%) customers surveyed will report more ease in accessing fruits and vegetables. 75 out of every 100 (75%) customers surveyed will report a decreased amount of time required to reach affordable fresh produce/healthy foods. 10 out of 20 (50%) of participants surveyed in our nutrition education programs will have increased knowledge of healthy foods.
