 Hope House/Maury County Center Against Domestic Violence was established in 1989 by the Business and Professional Women's Association. Its mission is to provide innovative and compassionate direct advocacy, counseling, and shelter services to victims of domestic and sexual violence and is a leading resource for system change. The grant requested in this application will be used to fund contract counselors through the Refuge Center for counseling, travel, and minimal supplies.  26 out of 40 (64%) will have completed 65% of their treatment plan goals by the end of their time in the counseling program.

26 out of 40 (64%) will show improved mental health through a 10 point increase in their Global Assessment of Functioning (GAF) score within 10 counseling sessions. A 10 point increase represents functional improvement, reduction in symptoms and/or impairment and clinical progress following therapy.
