Haven of Hope, Inc was established in 1985 as a 501(C)3 corporation. The program provides emergency shelter and support to victims of domestic/dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. The grant will be used to fund a portion of shelter operational costs to include: part-time (10 hours/week) shelter advocate assistant's wages and benefits and contract licensed counseling for sixty (60) counseling sessions. 21 out of 24 (88%) adult shelter victims will increase their feelings of safety evidenced by their usage of the violence assessment, development/implementation of a safety plan and/or report of change through victim survey questions/other service records.   9 out of 10 (90%) shelter and outreach victims participating in counseling will report a reduction in trauma symptoms evidenced by report of change through victim survey questions or recorded visible change in demeanor/actions or reduction in T score on the Trauma Symptom Inventory (TSI) as completed by licensed counselor.
