Transom Grants

Transom Grants are for specific projects or programs, which include clear goals, timeframes, and measurable health outcomes. The Trust currently makes the majority of its grants in this grant program area.

The Trust is be focused on supporting ongoing programs where strong need and sustainability is demonstrated as well as new programs or expansions where high community need has been documented.

Program proposals will be considered from organizations that benefit the health of vulnerable individuals in Middle Tennessee. The Baptist Healing Trust strongly emphasizes the importance of holistic and compassionate care within the proposing organization. The Trust issues grants primarily in the following four zones of interest under the umbrella of health:

  1. Physical Health
  2. Mental Health
  3. Recovery from Alcohol or Drug Addiction
  4. Healing from Abuse, Neglect, or Violence
