Community leaders and Mayor Karl Dean will hold a community kickoff rally at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at Jefferson Street Missionary Baptist Church to encourage Nashvillians to learn more about the Health Insurance Marketplace and to enroll if they are eligible.
The kickoff rally will make available a few computer stations where individuals can enroll. Counselor familiar with the Affordable Care Act also will be on hand.
Jefferson Street Missionary Baptist Church will make computers available each Sunday throughout the enrollment period so that church members, students at nearby Tennessee State University and others can learn about the Affordable Care Act and enroll. Churches, universities and community groups across the city are encouraged to hold enrollment rallies throughout the open enrollment period, which ends on March 31, 2014.
